- 2006: Benny Lee has been named a board member of Kansas City's Southtown Council, serving the economic, social and political needs of the city's region where Top Innovations is located.
- 2006: Benny Lee is named to the Board of Directors of the International Relations Council serving the greater Kansas City area with world affairs programming for all ages.
